Our design work is carried out by Paul; he has obtained his qualification of Landscape Architecture (B.AgSci) from UCD. Paul has professional practice in both the public and private sector. He can advise you about plans and designs that capture the essence of your site and will oversee the development and construction of your chosen design.
There are three main steps that the landscape architect will do: survey, design and oversee the construction of the design.
Survey
The survey is the very first step in the design process. The architect will come to the client's home or business and will take measurements and photos of the site. The architect will discuss with the client as to what they would like to achieve in their garden and form a design brief.
Design
Armed with the design brief, photos and site measurements the architect will form a design, communicating any questions or queries to the client directly. The client will be given an array of options on each aspect of the design.
Oversee
The architect will then oversee the construction work carried out by our team. He will visit the site on a number of occasions throughout the duration of the project.
